Here in Queensland, we do things differently, and membership of the Australia Malaysia Business Council (Qld) Inc is no exception! Most other states charge around $200+ for membership, but in Queensland, ordinary membership is $50. We believe that by keeping membership fees low, we can be more inclusive and more active, and we all benefit from having a critical mass, expanded networks and more opportunities for all our members. The organisation is run entirely by volunteers and we do everything we can to give back to our members.
We do have corporate memberships available as well, starting at $250 per year for smaller organisations, and $500 for larger firms. Corporate members do get additional opportunities and additional services on top of the normal rights of membership.
We are also able to offer State Sponsorship and National Sponsorship for those who would like to leverage the AMBCQ's and the national body's networks. Sponsorship comes with very significant benefits in the form of access and leverage and is a very effective way for companies to engage the Malaysian market.
